SEGERSTROM HIGH SCHOOL

The team of JZMK Partners, in a joint venture with Ralph Allen & Partners, completed Santa Ana's Segerstrom High School. This is a large, fundamental high school designed to house 2,500 students. The design consists of several buildings, each with a unique design that relates to the subject discipline that will be taught there. The main part of the plan is a large crescent-shaped building which overlooks the sports stadium. A spacious outdoor plaza connects the outer ring of the crescent with the rest of the school. The school will have a total of 264,800 square feet of buildings on a 38.9-acre site. Segerstrom High School opened its doors to students in September 2005.
