JZMK Partners has been selected to design a mid-rise mixed-use luxury residential infill development in Newport Beach, California. The firm has been retained by Black Plum LLC to design a new luxury age-restricted mixed-use development in the City of Newport Beach, CA. "The Newporter" will be a 100 unit luxury condominium development aimed at 55+ buyers who are looking to downsize from their large single-family homes to a highly amenitized lifestyle. Most units will have views of the Back Bay of Newport Beach.
Driving up to the porte-cochere, residents can either leave their car with the valet or park it in a subterranean parking structure. A five star restaurant will occupy the ground floor, just off the entry, and will open out onto a patio overlooking a one acre park. Residents can dine in or have their meals delivered to their unit. There will also be a coffee shop as well as a full service spa, private bar and conference facilities. The buildings are comprised of a five story and an eleven story building with large exterior decks to take advantage of Southern California's Mediterranean climate.
