Prefab Hillside Home

This Prefab Home is designed to be plotted its steep hillside view locations. The home cantilevers over the hillside slope in order to be used in shallow lot depths that have great views. The house is designed in the style of Mid-Century Modernism, typically seen in Los Angeles in the mid 20th century.

The floor plan utilizes four modules laid out in an opposing "L" shape with the lower modules containing the cantilevered section that orients toward the view. Bedrooms are located both on the lower floor and the upper floor. The home is designed to maximize views on small infill locations. The home utilizes Green Building systems such as photovoltaics, solar hot water, recycled materials. Homes can be erected in 2-3 days per house.
