Tyson McGuire

PROJECT MANAGER

Tyson has cherished his time in service of our great country, and has been able to utilize the leadership traits he gained from the Marine Corps and incorporate it into his daily routine as a PM. He has worked with a broad range of typologies from Single-Family to Custom homes, Community Duplex home developments and 250+ unit Mixed-Used Podium Homes.

Mr. McGuire has brought technical expertise to firms he has been associated with for the past 18 years. Tyson is experienced and well versed with the latest technical computer drafting software (BIM) to lead his teams and firms into the future of Design Development & Construction Documentation.

Mr. McGuire joined the United States Marine Corps just out of High School with a Primary MOS of 5811, Military Police. During his time, he has served on numerous base PMOs SRT teams. After Tyson’s eight years of service, he was Honorably Discharged from the USMC and chose to follow his passion of drawing and design. Even in his days with the Marines, he always carried a sketch book on deployments. He hung up his pack, and pursued a career in the Architecture and Fine Art Design.

Mr. McGuire is one of JZMK’s Project Managers, who oversees the project early on starting in the Schematic Design phase through Construction Administration, including the management of all aspects of design and construction documentation preparation and consultant coordination.

Tyson has cherished his time in service of our great country, and has been able to utilize the leadership traits he gained from the Marine Corps and incorporate it into his daily routine as a PM. He has also worked at MCB Pendleton’s military housing expansion (1,200 homes) which consisted of 6-Plex Townhomes, Duplexes, Single-Family and Custom Homes for Division and Base Commanders. Also, he has worked on GSA (Government Services Administration) retrofitting and technical labs; Flight Crew Centers for NASA at Palmdale and Dryden Flight Center on Edwards Airforce Base. He graduated from California State University in Fullerton, CA.
