MIVIDA

New Cairo, Egypt

JZMK Partners led the planning and urban design of Mivida, a 385-hectare (885-acre) master-planned new town in New Cairo, Egypt. Working with a multidisciplinary team of consultants, JZMK contributed to the project’s visioning, urban design framework, technical site planning, and architectural design guidelines.

Mivida was conceived as a complete mixed-use community designed to support living, working, and recreation within a walkable neighborhood structure. The plan organizes four distinct districts connected by an extensive open space network inspired by the site’s natural desert wadi system.

This integrated landscape framework forms the backbone of the community and includes multi-use trails, parks, community clubhouses, sports facilities, pools, water features, and passive recreation areas.

By combining sustainable landscape planning, mixed-use development, and pedestrian-oriented urban design, Mivida establishes a vibrant new town that integrates nature, wellness, and community life in the expanding New Cairo metropolitan region.
