ASSOCIATE, PROJECT MANAGER

“Architecture is really about well-being. I think that people want to feel good in a space ... On the one hand, it's about shelter, but it's also about pleasure.”
-Zaha Hadid

Athena Balistreri has nearly 20 years of architectural experience.  She has worked on projects in both the private and public sectors; some typologies include multi-family and single-family developments, custom homes, mixed-use, tenant improvements, healthcare, and federal architecture.

As a Project Manager for JZMK Partners, her responsibilities include bringing projects from schematic design through construction phases while leading teams to project success and client satisfaction.

Athena has worked as a LEED Accredited consultant, with countless projects achieving LEED Platinum status, so she understands the importance of environmental sensitivity and the health and well-being of project inhabitants.
