Athena Balistreri has nearly 20 years of architectural experience. She has worked on projects in both the private and public sectors; some typologies include multi-family and single-family developments, custom homes, mixed-use, tenant improvements, healthcare, and federal architecture.
As a Project Manager for JZMK Partners, her responsibilities include bringing projects from schematic design through construction phases while leading teams to project success and client satisfaction.
Athena has worked as a LEED Accredited consultant, with countless projects achieving LEED Platinum status, so she understands the importance of environmental sensitivity and the health and well-being of project inhabitants. To her architecture has an important role in being a steward for the environment in all possible aspects throughout the life cycle of a building.
Athena also finds importance in technology-driven architecture with a breadth of knowledge in BIM software and other visualization tools whether they are currently used industry-wide or still emerging technologies.
