SAADIYAT ISLAND MASTER PLAN

JZMK Partners collaborated with AECOM on the master planning and residential neighborhood design for Saadiyat Island, a major mixed-use island development located adjacent to Abu Dhabi’s central business district.

Envisioned as a premier coastal resort community, the master plan integrates luxury hospitality destinations, golf courses, cultural attractions, and a series of residential neighborhoods organized around walkable village centers. Each neighborhood core provides convenient access to daily amenities, services, and recreational spaces while maintaining strong connections to the island’s beaches, open space, and waterfront landscape.

JZMK’s role focused on the planning and design of the residential neighborhoods, including the development of architectural design guidelines, residential product concepts, and detailed architectural planning. Through thoughtful site planning and community organization, the project establishes a series of distinct residential enclaves that support both resort living and everyday community life within the larger Saadiyat Island master plan.
