With forty-one years of planning and architectural experience, Anastacio has been involved in numerous award-winning projects.

With more than 40 years of architectural and planning experience, Anastacio Martinez has led award-winning projects across the United States, the Middle East, Africa, China, Costa Rica, and Mexico. His expertise spans a wide range of building types, including single-family and multifamily housing, mixed-use developments, resorts and hospitality projects, commercial buildings, and institutional facilities.

Before joining JZMK Partners, Anastacio founded and led Anastacio Martinez Associates in Newport Beach, California. He joined JZMK in 1999 as Director of Operations, overseeing project management, client relations, office leadership, and design supervision. In 2005, he expanded his role as Director of Architecture, guiding construction document quality control and construction-phase coordination across the firm’s projects.

In 2007, Anastacio was appointed Chief Operating Officer, directing strategic initiatives including financial planning, business development, and legal oversight. He became Chief Executive Officer in 2013 and now leads the firm’s operational strategy, financial performance, and long-term growth.

Anastacio also oversees JZMK’s international design and planning work, leading projects and business development efforts throughout the Middle East and Brazil. He has directed multiple international design competitions in the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

He is a licensed architect in California and Arizona and a member of the American Institute of Architects. Anastacio studied at Stanford University and earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arizona.
